  From the first time I walked in the door at Unity, I felt loved and accepted. If you're looking for a church that's short on dogma but long on loving-kindness, this is it. This church has been my spiritual home for 10 years and its members have been there for me during my bout with cancer, the growth of my family and all the other milestones that have made up my last decade. What I love the most about this church is how it has helped me to honor my own path while respecting the paths of others. Rev. Clare Austen is an amazing minister; her Sunday talks are intellectually stimulating and peppered with many self-effacing stories that always end up making me see things in a new way. The building is beautiful and well-maintained, the associate ministers, Rev. David McClure and Rev. Jackie Greene, are very involved in creating supportive pastoral care and a dynamic children's church, respectively. Members actively volunteer in church-sponsored areas that build a better Spokane; providing new shoes for poor children, making delicious meals for shelter teens, delivering meals to home-bound residents--and the list goes on! Unity Church in Spokane is a terrific place to grow spiritually--it is a community of love and acceptance!
